Cadmidium Services are looking for a part time Chief Finance Officer (CFO) to work closely with the other Chiefs in the organisation. The right candidate will have real ambition and a focus on performance, its people and delivering an outstanding finance experience both internally & externally. The main aim of this role is to contribute to company goals and values by providing first class financial leadership.

Chief Finance Officer – Main Duties:

  • Performance; overall financial responsibility for performance, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of management accounts, overseeing production of annual budgets, P&L forecasts

  • Business Support; attendance at owner meetings as required by CEO, ensuring monthly finance information is in line with business expectations

  • Ensuring the central finance team deliver accurate information to the business, undertaking special projects as required, identify cost savings, sharing best practice

  • Internal Control and Audit

  • People; man management and leadership, sharing and implementing best practice, ensuring members are fully trained and supported

  • Quality; ensure accurate financial services across all entities

  • Profit; develop new ways or controlling costs, monitoring KPIs, budgeting and forecasting

  • Strategy; work with stakeholders to drive improvement, monitoring changes to the brand, acquisitions

Ideal Skills and Experience:

  • 10 years relevant Financial experience

  • Minimum Degree level Accounting qualifications essential

  • Ideally hold or working towards certification with a professional finance body such as ACCA, CFA or CPA

  • Ability to be security cleared to SC level.

Reporting to the CEO, the CFO will play a vital role in leading and managing our finance function to deliver everyday excellence in the services we provide, and to also shape the future of the organisation as a key strategic partner.

The candidate will be capable of making high-level decisions, prioritising and setting future direction, balancing risk and opportunity, providing assurance to the CEO and Board for both the corporate budget and the expected revenues.

The Chief Finance Officer will need to be an inspiring, confident leader, adaptable and with sound judgement. Able to influence effectively at Board level, (s)he will need to enjoy creating long-term plans, providing clarity on complex topics to non-finance colleagues, and being central to decision making in the organisation.

CFO (Part Time / 2 days per week) Salary: £80-£100k per annum pro rata
