Security and Information Assurance Roles

Cadmidium are looking to expand their Security and Information Assurance space, so this could be an opportunity for you.

Cadmidium have a growing Practice within the Security and Information Assurance (IA) space. We are always looking to fulfil roles within projects with expert people.

Knowledge of Defence/Government is a requirement, in particular the Compliance Policies, Procedures and Guidance’s they use. Some roles require providing IA advice and assessing Security compliance and obtaining security accreditation for systems, so knowledge and experience in doing this is an essential skill to have. Along with these skills, there is a necessity to have knowledge and understanding of the Data Protection Act. Desirable skills to have are; Experience of the Ministry of Defence ways of working, Knowledge of Defence acquisition procedures, Experience in Stakeholder Management, Understanding of MOD/UK Gov Engineering Change Management Processes, Experience in Risk Management.

Even though the job role is based on experience, Qualifications are desirable; Any IA/Security Qualifications, ITIL Foundation and ISO 27001 Auditor Qualification.

Senior Systems Engineer (Messaging)

Location: UK Based with European deployments

 

We are seeking an XMPP specialist to join our company for a UK Based role with deployments into Europe; Holland, Belgium, Germany and Portugal. We are looking for an immediate start for this role.

Individuals that hold UK Defence Security Clearance / NATO Security clearance are preferred.

 

We are seeking individuals with experience of installing / maintaining and managing XMPP servers and XMPP Chat clients.

The individual must have knowledge and working experience of; Java, Java Script, PHP, HTML,C++, Python.

Knowledge and experience of Software engineering methodologies as well as Systems Engineering processes give a distinct advantage for this role.

Software Developer

Cadmidium are looking to recruit Software Developers, so this could be an opportunity for you.

Becoming a Software Developer within Cadmidium will require becoming apart of the growing team. Most of the work Cadmidium do is Defence related, so some knowledge within the sector would be desirable, but not a necessity.  Fundamentals for this role will include knowledge of programming skills. You will need to be comfortable with web-based programs as well as traditional programs like Java and Visual Basic. Along with this a key skill to have is the knowledge and experience with one or more development language (Java, C++, C#, Visual Basic, .NET, PHP, HTML etc.). Being experienced in computer hardware and software is an essential, along with experience with SQL Servers.

Other skills required; Strong Communication skills, Ability to work in a team, Eye for detail and identifying problems, Understanding of Business, Analytical experience and stakeholder engagement experience.

System Engineer

Cadmidium are looking to expand their Systems Engineer space, so this could be an opportunity for you.

Joining us as a Systems Engineer, you will be working in our Technical department as part of the Cadmidium Systems Engineering Design and Build team. The team is responsible for a wide variety of capabilities, technologies and projects; working both internally within the company to the Cadmidium Board and externally in customer facing roles. The role is varied and you may be involved in the development of a new technology or responsible for the installing, configuring, testing and maintaining operating systems, application software and system management tools.

The ideal candidate for this position will have a background in Systems Engineering and experience in all aspects of the product development lifecycle, generation of requirement specifications, product testing and verification and use of the V-MoDel. The personal attributes we look for in our staff include; strong team player and effective communicator, keen interest in supporting research and development, competent in technical report writing, ability to manage own time and ability to show integrity.

Desirable skills and experience include; System MoDelling, defence or NATO experience, membership of a relevant professional institute (e.g. INCOSE), professional registration (EngTech, IEng or CEng)
