  • Manage activities in our main office situated in Penarth, Cardiff

  • Key holder responsibilities.

  • You will be the first point of call for all internal and external customers contacting the organisation with training enquiries.

  • Work very closely with new team to provide effective training programmes

  • Assists in planning and arranging training events

  • Some diary management of the CEO including booking meetings.

  • Managing correspondence by answering, phone calls, emails and sorting mail

  • Invoice data responsibilities

  • Helping out where necessary

  • Expected to play a key role in development of new training initiative, including creative ideas, and local knowledge to    maximise business potential.

  • Liaise with clients on the phone

  • Draft, format, and print relevant documentation

  • Practical, hands on approach, some basic repairs and maintenance of training & Marine equipment.

  • Penarth Office security responsibilities including being on call for any security issues or alarm situations inside & outside  of normal office hours.

  • Security Vetting administration support

  • Maintaining accurate records

  • Social media posting and advertising from time to time.

  • Inventory management of training equipment


  • Must be reside within 10 minutes from our Penarth Office location .

  • Full time Permanent position.

  • Must be able to obtain & maintain SC level security clearance

  • Previous experience being an Office Administrator or Secretary alongside good administrative skills.

  • Ideally from a Marine related background

  • Must be competent in Microsoft Office applications, and at least a moderate understanding of general IT

  • Desire to be upskilled in Security Vetting administration, and other cyber security activities.

  • Capable of working in a team and at times autonomously

  • Effective communication skills.

Salary: £22,500 per year
